Does Shreyas Iyer's ego cost them the Qualifier 1 against RCB?

Shreyas Iyer is the first captain in IPL to take three different teams in play offs.

Thus everyone had so many expectations from PBKS that they will do some miracle.

Unfortunately against RCB in Qualifier 1 PBKS lost with the big margin.

PBKS choked on the big stage.

Where all this could have been avoided if the batters could have played according to the situation.

PBKS lost their opening batters cheaply and then the captain Shreyas Iyer came to bat. However the captain had a very poor record against Josh Hazlewood.

In this situation it was very important for Shreyas Iyer to play sensibly. Late the ego stay aside and create partnership.

But the attempt of mixing his ego against the benefit of the team was the main concern.

If Shreyas Iyer main have let his ego set aside. PBKS could have scored more runs and may have set the fighting target.
