Let’s see step by step how we can install chrome os flex in our computer device
Step 1 to install chrome os flex
So before we move forward to our first step the most important thing that we are going to need is pen drive.
so make sure you have 16 GB pendrive ready that you can use and delete all the data in it. If you have it we can go ahead.
Alright so first we need to go to chrome browser on our computer.
From their we need to visit chrome web store and let’s search for chrome book utility recovery
There you will get the plugin. Simply click on add to chrome.
Step 2 to install chrome os flex in your laptop
Once we install chrome utility recovery tool. We need to open that tool. Make sure you will connect pendrive to your system.
Then it will ask us to select a device. We can select chrome os flex and then chrome os flex unstable developer.
Then it will request you to select a flash drive. So you can select the pendrive that you have inserted.
Now it will download some important files and it will flash your pendrive to make it bootable.
Step 3 how to install chrome flex os
In this step once your pendrive is ready. You need to restart your computer in boot menu. There are different keys for different laptops to enter into boot menu. Normally it works with f12.
So restart your computer and keep press f12 until you enters in boot menu.
Once you will be there in boot menu. Select your pendrive.
It will open chrome os flex interface on your computer.
Now you will have two options. You can try using chrome os or you can click on install cloud ready.
It will take few minutes and finally chrome os flex is installed on your device.
Chrome os flex is in developer Stage so playstore is not available now.
Chrome os flex dual boot:
Chrome os flex currently cannot dual boot on pc or laptop. However in future there is a probability that it will star supporting dual boot option.
